In Florida, real estate licenses expire on March 31st or September 30th, every two years. The specific renewal date for your license depends on when you passed your exam. This information is also available on your real estate license.
Complete Your Post-License Education
Prior to their first license renewal deadline, Florida real estate sales associates must complete 45 hours of post-licensing education. Failing to complete the post-licensing education on time, will result in your license becoming null and void. If you hold a 4-year degree, or higher, in real estate you may be exempt from the post-license education requirement.
Pay Your Renewal Fee
Submit a payment of $32 to the Florida DBPR within 90 days of the license renewal date.

In Florida, real estate agents must complete 45 hours of post-licensing education before their first license renewal period. This education requirement must be completed within 18 to 24 months after sales associates receive their initial license.

The post-licensing course for real estate sales associates must be completed 18 to 24 months from the date your license was initially issued. The dates for your real estate license renewal are either March 31st or September 30th, whichever date is closest to your license approval date.
Is there an exam for the 45-hour real estate post-licensing course in Florida?
Yes, there is an end-of-course exam to successfully complete the Florida 45-hour real estate sales associate post-licensing education. The final exam is a 3-hour exam with 100 multiple- choice questions. You must get a score of 75% or more to pass the post-licensing end-of-course exam.
